Midsummer Cruise route 2024
The cruises start from Helsinki Market Square, by the yellow flags. The duration of the cruise is 3 hours. The departure time for m/s Sofia and m/s Victoria is at 20:00 and for m/s Diana at 20:30.
The cruise route takes you along the shores of the Helsinki archipelago. The choice of route depends on the forest fire warning. If the Midsummer bonfires are allowed, we will head past Suomenlinna Fortress and Pihlajasaari island towards the bonfire at Seurasaari island’s Midsummer celebration. We will follow the coastline of Kaivopuisto park and pass under the bridges of Lauttasaari. Along the way, we may see smaller private bonfires.
Our captains will ensure that you enjoy the stunning seascape and the Midsummer atmosphere, regardless of the route. If there is a forest fire warning and official bonfires are not lit, we will head towards the eastern archipelago of Helsinki. Our ship will stay close to the shores, first passing Kaivopuisto park, then continuing past Suomenlinna Fortress, along the northern side of Santahamina island and under the Hevossalmi bridge towards Villinki and Jollas.
We will return to Market Square at 23:00/23:30. Whether the chosen route takes us to Seurasaari's Midsummer bonfire or the eastern archipelago, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the enchanting Midsummer atmosphere at sea. Welcome to the Midsummer Cruise!
