It's an experience house and children's museum, focusing on children's literature. Junibacken is named after the house where Astrid Lindgren's children's book figure Madicken lived.
Amoung the permanet attractions you find Sagotorget, the fariytale square, with houses from different famous childrens books. Sagotåget, the fariytale train, consists of wagons where the children can travel through three-dimensional environments of Astrid Lindgren's fairytales. You also find the popular the Villa Villekulla-room, where you enter the world of Pippi Longstocking.
