Visit the heart of Swedish Empire with a guided boat tour with M/S Evert Taube from Stockholm, on calm waterways through beautiful Lake Mälaren to Sigtuna. Onboard the boat there is a cafeteria where you can buy warm and cold drinks, coffee bread, snacks and sandwiches.
The small town of Sigtuna
Sigtuna was founded in 980 and the rune stones, churches and ruins show a transition between the Viking and medieval ages. With its wooden houses from 18th, 19th and 20th century Sigtuna is filled with history and is well worth a visit. You can visit Lundströmska Gården dating back to the 1600s, explore the small churches and interpret the runes. For summer strollers there are plenty of cafes, galleries and shopping.
Sigtuna Museum & Art
At Lilla torget in Sigtuna you will find Sigtuna Museum & Art - a Museum for the whole family. You can also visit the Drop-in-studio in the garden.
You get free admission to Sigtuna Museum & Art when you show your boat ticket. Read more about the Sigtuna Museum & Art on their own website - get the latest program and opening hours.
