Besides the Fram exhibition you can also visit the Gjøa building. The building is named after the famous ship which was the first vessel to transit the Northwest Passage.
The buildings are connected through an underground tunnel. You can find many artefacts from the voyages in the two buildings and in the tunnel, as well. Every 20 minutes there is a show modelled on the northern lights.
The museum also highlights several important environmental topics, such as endangered species, the destruction of the polar ice caps, and gas and oil spills.
