We can help you order food and drinks for your tour, from baked goods and sandwiches to tapas and smørrebrød - we've got you covered. Take a look at our catering offers for 2025.

You're also more than welcome to bring your own food and drinks along. Just remember to bring glasses, plates, and cutlery. We kindly ask that you tidy up after yourselves before the end of your rental period.

Named after the famous Danish fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875)
Maximum capacity: 150 persons, of which 96 seats are under roof

Nattergalen
Named after the fairy tale The Nightingale from 1845
Maximum capacity: 144 persons, of which 104 seats are under roof

Snedronningen
Named after the fairy tale The Snow Queen from 1845
Maximum capacity: 144 persons, of which 104 seats are under roof

Store Claus
Named after the fairy tale Little Claus and Big Claus from 1835
Maximum capacity: 150 persons, of which 96 seats are under roof

Facilities on all above canal boats
Tables: No
Toilet: No
Roof: Yes, the boats are covered, and there is an outdoor area at the back
Heated: Yes, the boats are heated during the colder months
Kitchen: No
Music: Yes, speakers are available and can be connected to a smartphone via bluetooth
Accessibility: Please note that space onboard is limited, and the boat is not wheelchair accessible. Additionally, some of the bridges have steps.

Price Information

Rental prices for our covered canal boats vary by season and include a port tax of DKK 475. See starting prices below:

May 1 – September 30

  • Monday to Thursday, per hour: From DKK 5,900
  • Friday to Sunday, per hour: From DKK 6,500

October 1 – April 30:

  • Monday to Thursday, per hour: From DKK 4,700
  • Friday to Sunday, per hour: From DKK 5,300

    On the map below, you can see our standard pick-up and drop-off locations. If you'd like to start or end your tour outside the green or red zone, additional fees apply:

    • Outside the green zone: DKK 550
    • Outside the red zone: DKK 1,100
